Perfect for anywhere jacket
November 29, 2021I love this blazer. While the material is itchy, it hangs perfectly. I expected more of a felt type wool. This is almost crepe like. So it isnt very thick. The shape is perfect too. The shoulders are a little bigger, but it is cut in at the waist. It is a great updated version of a classic. But like other reviewers mentioned, it is itchy. For me, the fit and cut more than make up for it. I found it true to size.

Timeless classic blazer
October 21, 2021Classic wool blazer which would not be redundant in your closet. It goes almost with everything and makes your look polished. It is true to size overall but if you have broad shoulders you may want to size up.

Not for petites
October 12, 2021I was so sorry to send this back...it is right on trend and beautifully made. The wool is definitely a touch scratchy (and I'm not overly sensitive), but I would have still kept it except that I was swimming in it (5' 0", 110 lbs, 32/34A). Arms too long, body too long, shoulders too big - I bought a 0 and I'm usually a Petite 2. There are at least 4 oversized blazers/jackets I would kill for at JC this season, but why no petites?

So scratchy and flimsy
October 9, 2021The construction and details of this jacket are absolutely fabulous. It fits wonderfully—it is slightly oversized, as it should be, since it’s a modern take on menswear. I have been searching for years for a navy, pinstripe, double breasted blazer and this one almost fits the bill. What’s lacking is the actual material. It is cheap feeling and extremely scratchy to the touch. The material is so thin the wool fibers poke through and are sharp. It feels like a Brillo pad you’d scrub dishes with. For this to be wearable, I’m going to have to wear at least two base layers underneath and probably a scarf because the collar area isn’t lined.

September 29, 2021This blazer IS GOOD. REAL GOOD! I’m 5’7”, 150# and regularly a size 4-6 in J. Crew. I ordered this in size 10 to achieve the slouchier boyfriend blazer look and could’ve gone up to size 12 for less tightness when pairing it with a hoodie. I’m good with the 10 though. I love how the shoulders aren’t padded (or ever so slightly) and the length in all areas is perfect. Can easily be dressed up or down. I love it! J. Crew did not disappoint!

Beautiful Blazer
September 28, 2021Love this blazer. I am partial to J Crew blazers did not need this but it is exactly what I have been looking for. It is true to size but if you are at all in between sizes order up. I ordered a 10 and a 12, going with the 12 for a more comfortable fit. It is perfect. Wish the wool was a little bit softer. Haven't worn it yet as weather is way too warm. Looking forward to fall. Definitely going to be a favorite, getting me out of my plain navy blazer that I always reach for
