Lady jacket in Italian confetti houndstooth

The quality of this jacket is absolutely top notch. I purchased it to wear with the skirt, and my long equestrian boots. It's will be with me for several years. I bought the size 2, but I could have gotten away with a size zero. However, it is tailored to perfection and I feel like an absolute lady in it. I imagine it will work well with jeans and a bright coloured sweater or a black/bright coloured shift dress. So many options with this piece.

I'm not too crazy about the fabric (65% wool, 25% nylon and 10% silk) or the confetti colours. The colours are just coloured yarn flecks throughout the weave. Material is rather thin. I don't know how long the suit would last because the weave is fairly loose. The pattern lined up on my suit just fine unlike the other reviews. However when you put the skirt and blazer together, it looks impressive and for the price, it's fair because something a bit more substantial would be significantly pricier elsewhere. The stand up collar is scratchy at the neck like the regent blazer. Overall I like the suit set and will keep it. Can't find a similar one for the price point.

Fit is true to size, I took my usual blazer size. I like the traditional houndstooth pattern and that the confetti pattern is there but subtle. Material is soft so the jacket is not stiff. It's very comfortable to wear, and wool is not scratchy.
