44 customer reviewsWhat customers are saying:
Customers really love the soft, substantial brushed chino fabric, the pretty colors, and the classic barn-jacket look with a nice updated feel. The jacket is generally described as warm enough for fall, comfortable, and easy to layer over sweaters, making it a go-to transitional piece. Most customers note that it runs roomy or oversized, so sizing down can help if you want a more fitted look. They also seem to appreciate the pockets, corduroy details, and sturdy, well-made construction overall.

Obsessed with This Jacket!
January 23, 2026I was looking for a dupe of The Row barn jacket and found this one online. Plus, it was on sale, so I I ordered it ! The jacket is soft and feels very well made, with durable quality that doesn’t compromise on style. It’s absolutely perfect. It has an oversized fit, so if you prefer a more tailored look, I recommend sizing down one size from your usual.

Thin, stiff, not warm
November 26, 2025Material on the outside is soft ('sueded') but inside there is no lining and it absorbs the cool temps not keeping you warm. Also, very baggy and boxy. Please J Crew, at least line your barn jackets.

Love this jacket!
November 26, 2025I bought this a few weeks ago and it’s been in constant rotation. It’s lightweight but surprisingly warm. A perfect layering option. The fabric is very soft and not stiff at all. The color is a dark gray blue. I have long arms and surprisingly the arms are long enough on this jacket which rarely happens.
