SMELLS FOUL
September 6, 2018There is such an overwhelming fabric odor to this, I was disgusted to even try on! I do not think a good wash would even help this mess. The fabric feels so cheap, this is just gross.

September 5, 2018I agree with the other reviewers that it runs large. I usually wear medium and I size down to small and it fits perfect. The only reason I’m giving it a 2 star is because I got mine from the mail today and it looks worn but i can’t return it anymore because it was on final sale.

August 26, 2018This looks more like a Madewell item than a J.Crew item, but that’s fine. The fabric is really soft, like super lived in old denim. I wore it yesterday over gray lookout hirise jeans and felt awesome. Agreed with the other reviewer that this looks weird unbelted/open, but I only plan to wear it tied. I rolled the sleeves back once to show off a bangle. Size XS fit great on my 5’4” 120# frame for a slouchy, but not sloppy, look.

Just misses the mark
August 22, 2018The idea behind this jacket is great - however, the execution doesn't pan out. It looks great wrapped (although an xs is still too large on me, and I'm 5'6 and 120lb), but it doesn't look good when it's not wrapped and tied. The inside denim shows, and it just doesn't hang. I like to have an open front at times so this one is going back, unfortunately.

July 31, 2018Just to be the dissenting opinion, I found this piece on the sales rack at my local store and it didn't look like much on the hanger but when I tried it on it had a sort of slouchy, quiet chicness in the shape that I feel marries quite well with the casual fabric. Kind of a sleepy piece but I think it will add a nice element of style thrown over simple pants and tops or cute summer dresses.
