Agree that this runs massive - but is gorgeous
January 5, 2022As a preface, I never, ever wear things tight and always prefer something slightly loose to slightly tight. I am a consistent Size 6 in J.Crew blazers because I prefer them to fit comfortably with room for a thicker Oxford/vest, etc. (For reference, I'm 130lbs, 5'5, 36B). I purchased this season's black or brown wool blazer-jacket and actually went up to a size 8 so that the armpits weren't so tight. For this houndstooth blazer-jacket, I bought the size 6, and man oh man, it runs large. I should have purchased the size 4, and I've never needed to do that in a J.Crew blazer before. (Sure, it would fit always, but the 6 is ideal.) Anyway, even if you're like me and never size down, I would recommend taking the leap and doing so here. Even if you have a larger chest, the single button structure should give you ample chest room. Gorgeous pattern/quality otherwise!

Love this jacket!!
December 22, 2021This is gorgeous. I prefer a blazer with a straight cut (not nipped in at the waist) and this is one! It is almost the exact same cut as an Isabel Marant blazer I have that was 4x the price. It is oversized but that’s definitely the look. I went with my smaller size but would not size down from there.

Too boxy/big
November 22, 2021I wanted a more structured blazer. This was too boxy for me (5’8”, 160 lbs, hourglass/athletic, size 6 in denim). I bought a size 8 and for it to not be huge in the waist I probably would have needed a 4. Overall quality is amazing. If you want this pattern in an oversized blazer definitely go for it. Unfortunately, I’ll be sending back this item.

Runs Large
November 19, 2021I've been looking for a jacket/blazer like this in Herringbone for so long. Loved the color. Bought my normal size and it fit great in the shoulders, but the body of the jacket was way too big and boxy. I know it's supposed to have that relaxed, oversized look, but I could fit 2 of me in the body of it. If you can size down, do it. I was afraid to because it would then be too tight in the shoulders. I might try again with a smaller size when I see it on sale. It's online only, so can't go to the store to try it on.

Beautiful jacket!
November 19, 2021This jacket is gorgeous and I was disappointed it did not fit me right. The shoulders fit perfectly and the sleeves the right length. The middle section, however belled out and looked like a maternity jacket on me in both the back and front. It would have been the perfect cut if it were a wrap-around, but I got it to wear as a button down. I'm 5'7" 119lbs.

Beautiful Blazer
November 12, 2021I really like this blazer. it is very high quality and as a lover of hounds tooth pattern I am really happy with the fabric. In the early fall weather it is perfect for a walk and will be a great layer for late fall and winter.
