Vivienne topcoat in Italian pinstripe wool blend

This coat is soft and comfortable . I went with my usual size 2 (in ladycoat) 126lbs 5'5" 34b ,fits great with room for layers underneath. As the name topcoat implies it's a thinner coat, much thinner than ladycoat but softer too. Happy that I bought this mostly wool coat at a great sale price.

This coat it's not thick, is like for fall weather, beautiful well made, the grey color, the details inside, I loved it!. I ordered 8 and 10, because I read the is slightly small BUT NO, is TRUE SIZE, I'm MEDIUM in tops (36C), and the size 8 fits great with a blouse or a cashmere sweater, the size 10 it looks a little big from the shoulders, so I will returned, if you wanted to wear it with a thick sweater, size up!.

Oh is this a beautiful coat!! I have been having trouble finding a wool coat this year. They are mostly half wool and half polyester, which makes the so heavy and bulky. This coat has more wool, and lays smoothly on the body. This one is lightweight and would be perfect in cold weather with a sweater underneath. I love the great quality and look of this fabric! I am exchanging it for a larger size, as it is tailored and the hip area is very straight. It is not oversized as it looks on the model.

Just in general. I do not like wool blend coats. They look cheap and bulky. I remember the good old days when coats were made of 100 percent wool and didn't cost an arm and a leg. I purchased a coat last year from j crew and it's so bulky. Looks like a cheap wool blanket and no drape. It's stiff
