Collection poncho in Italian double-faced cashmere

Cashmere is exactly like double faced cashmere pullover and cashmere wrap jacket from a few years ago. So, if you like that cashmere then you will also be happy with this option. Purchased during cashmere sale. I think this is a fair price. Would recommend sizing down. I'm just over 5.8, so no issue w/being overwhelmed by the cape. There's a hook closure at the neck and reviewer who noted thin thread is correct. Material is thicker than sewing thread; like a thin tassel in terms of actual width, but you get the point. A seamstress could replace with a thicker option. This is a lightweight poncho, so definitely for milder temps; you can wear cape over a suit jacket instead of a coat. I live in the South, so this will be very useful in fall/winter because we don't have cold weather often. Poncho matches Ludlow navy cashmere pants, so planning to pair with those bottoms, cashmere crewnecks and honeycomb cashmere sweaters.

This was absolutely the most disappointing product I ever received. It was totally overpriced. Came. Very thin. Armholes held together with a thin thread. Pockets closed completely and no way to open without cutting the material. This is absolutely the worst quality I have ever received from this company. I have shopped here for many years and if this is the quality to come I will not shop here any longer. I can buy pure cashmere a lot cheaper from other retailers.

The cashmere is lovely but this is so heavy and the design swallows you up. I’m pretty small up top and with the neck scarf I felt like I completely disappeared under the cape. This runs huge. Have other capes that fit much better. Also, front is completely open except for single hook and eye by neck. The scarf doesn’t allow for many options. Maybe will fit someone else better but not for me.
