March 10, 2022If I buy one more JCrew coat my husband will kill me. lol I had to have this one and it did not disappoint. It's perfect with jeans or the matching pants [which I also bought and love!]. JCrew coats are the best. The quality of some of their products have wavered lately haven't. It fits perfect. Very true to size. Quality and color are great as well!

Beautiful and chic!
December 16, 2021Really beautiful coat that will last for seasons to come. I have a 2P in the old style of the topcoat and opted for a 4 in this. So glad I did, roomy enough for a sweater underneath but still looks like it fits appropriately. Would have liked a Petite only for the sleeve length being a hair too long but it is not uncomfortable or too long that it looks noticeable. Agree that the fabric is not that soft but it is a wool coat after all, not my first layer. The length of the coat comes to right below my knees which is what I wanted.

Perfect to dress up jeans
December 2, 2021I've received so many compliments on this jacket. I love it. I purchased a size 6 and wish I would have selected a size 8. It still fits but I would have liked to have worn thin sweaters under it. It fits perfect with a T-shirt or blouse under it.

Great coat if you get it on sale
November 11, 2021This is a beautiful coat in a lovely plaid. I do not have sensitive skin and this is slightly itchy. Mostly because they put a large square of the plaid wool underneath the jcrew logo on the back of the neck. English wool is scratchy so I wish they wouldn’t have done that. It is not a coat I plan on wearing all the time so I’m keeping it bc I got it at a terrific sale price. Otherwise, at the original price I would have returned.

Lovely Fall Find
November 10, 2021I absolutely adore this jacket, it's such a lovely fall piece to add to my collection. As one reviewer noted, the wool is a bit scratchy but generally I'm very sensitive to the scratchiness of all wool and will manage fine. It is very much just a longer length of the blazer version with regard to weight and detailing and therefore wouldn't be a coat to wear on an especially cold day. I love the classic styling of the glen plaid pattern and design of the coat; I expect to wear it seasonally for many years ahead.

Not for tall, curvy women unless you size up.
November 7, 2021I’m 5”10” and a size 14 in coats. This one was quite snug, the sleeve length was too short and the vent in the back of my coat was in perfect alignment with my butt cr@#k! So its going back. English wool is ALWAYS scratchy, so keep that in mind. I still would recommend it to friends-the ones that aren’t too tall or curvy. I do like the colors of the plaid.
