Don't be fooled by the word "wool", just a trench
December 24, 2025It’s a lovely coat, and the reviews are right—it runs very oversized. I’m typically a size 2 in tops and ordered a 0, and it’s still a bit big on me. I would have gone with a 00 if it hadn’t been sold out. My main issue is the fabric. Despite “wool” being in the title, it’s quite thin and feels more like a trench-coat material than a warm wool coat. For that reason, I find it overpriced for what it is.

December 22, 2025This jacket is HUGE. I’d say about 2-3 sizes too big. I am trying to make it work. Wear it oversized or tie it in the back really tightly to cinch the waist a bit, and I wear it with chunky knits or add an extra jacket underneath if it’s really cold. It’s disappointing it’s so huge, I would have tried to exchange but I got it final sale. I love the green/olive color, so I try to make it work.

Do not buy
December 19, 2025Awful construction. The dropped shoulders & seam look cheap and sloppy. Typically a size 6, bought 4 — still too big, especially on a petite 5’1” frame. Took a gamble with final sale. So disappointing.

The best trench coat
December 16, 2025The kind is accidentally made. It’s not a winter jacket. It’s a fall jacket going into the winter as long as you lay it anything below 50° I wouldn’t wear it. It runs big just go down at least two whole size if you’re true to your size if you fluctuate between sizes, then go down one size. It’s an excellent piece own

Great trench, runs 2 sizes too large
December 5, 2025I love this trench! Thanks to everyone who left a review before me. I’m usually a 2 in J Crew blazers and outerwear. I ordered a 00 thinking that if this didn’t fit me, I could gift it to my very petite niece. But it fits, and I could even wear a heavy sweater underneath. Two sizes down was exactly the right call.
