Beautiful Trench
December 12, 2024This is a beautiful trench that is lightweight and will be perfect for layering in the spring. It adds a classy touch to what otherwise would be a drab outfit. I do believe it lends more to fitting true to size, as a trench isn’t supposed to be form fitting. I am consistently a size 10T in J Crew coats, and a Medium fits me perfectly. The off white color is beautiful, I’m excited to wear this in the spring!

No liner and it ruins it.
December 3, 2024Fabric and cut is gorgeous but they didn't line in full and the material is very see through. Had black pants on with it and it looks ridiculous. It reads "unfinished" and "inexpensive". Especially on the lower half, waist down. Considering getting it lined but it is so odd J Crew skimped on this important detail of a trench coat. Bought it final sale unfortunately.

The perfect Spring/Summer trench
October 17, 2024The style and quality of this trench is spot on. I love the material and the attention to detail. It’s lightweight which is perfect for the Spring months and can’t wait to wear it with my linen dresses. Is a bit oversized but am happy with that as it will drape nicely over whatever I pair it with. Very happy with my purchase

Very pretty fabric but frumpy shape
September 23, 2024The fabric is so pretty but the cut of this jacket is not at all. The shoulders are so frumpy and overall the shape of the jacket does not have a nice silhouette

GIGANTIC!
June 4, 2024I know this coat is supposed to be a relaxed fit, but holy guacamole does this run large!! This is uncharacteristic for J.Crew - I usually wear an 8/10, so I ordered a medium. Upon putting it on, I genuinely thought they'd sent an XL on accident. It made me feel like I was 8 again, trying on my mom's clothes. If you're not looking for a VERY oversized look, I'd size down once, if not twice.
