9" high-rise toothpick jean in Fresh Water wash

These jeans are meant to be like a second skin, I think. I sized up one size after reading recent reviews and wish I hadn't, but it's not a big deal. I just wear them with a belt. I do find the leg more like an 'ankle' length than other toothpick jeans from J Crew, and my legs aren't so long. That's one thing I didn't expect. But the fabric is supple and lovely, no complaints there.

I just got these in yesterday. I have shopped at J Crew for years, and I typically wear size 4 or 6 in most items. I weigh between 125-130 lbs and I'm 5'55. I got these in a size 28 since I read that they run small. They are nice and tight across my legs, and comfortable around my stomach. The regular inseam is perfect on me. I tend to carry my weight in my stomach, so some high-waisted jeans can cut into me, but these do not. I like the light wash, and personally (maybe since I live in CA) I wear light wash jeans year round! The material seems a bit thin, however, and I am wondering if these will eventually stretch out, especially in the knees. But considering the fact that I got them on Final Sale, I am happy.

The search is finally over! These are it! The perfect skinny jeans! They dont stretch out like some other of my jeans do, so, no soggy bottoms. High quality material. Also sit nicely through the thighs - no imperfections shown on the back. Im tall (5’9) , so these are appr ankle length.
