13 customer reviewsWhat customers are saying:
These jeans are getting lots of love for their soft brushed interior, warm cozy feel, and comfortable stretch, making them a great pick for colder weather. The dark rinse is a standout too, with customers calling it classic and flattering enough for everyday wear or dressing up. Fit-wise, many customers suggested sizing down since they tend to run a bit large, though some found their usual size worked well for a roomier feel. Overall, they seem best for customers looking for a warm, stylish jean with a vintage straight-leg look.

not acually petite
January 18, 2023These can't be petite -- more like they cut them to to a shorter length. The back pockets are ridiculously low and start half way down my bottom to end up on my thighs. They are comfy and warm but don't expect to look good. Ugh at best.

OK for cold weather but not sleek
January 8, 2023These jeans are a great dark color and have some decent stretch. I ordered my usual size 30. For me, they fit comfortably in the waist but are much too loose in the hips and thighs, so I don’t get that long lean look. I could possibly have sized down and they would have looked amazing but have been a tad too tight at the waist. These were final sale so I am keeping them. They are fine for running errands and if you live in a cold climate the material is thicker and warmer. I have plenty of room for long underwear too! But that’s not what I wanted. The last 2 pair of jeans that I have purchased from JCrew have had the same issue- fit at the waist but dumpy looking in the butt and thighs. The amount of stretch can really throw off the sizing.

Boyish and Feminine at the same time
January 7, 2023I snagged these on sale, always looking for the perfect jeans, and these are currently on heavy rotation. The material is heavy enough for the current colder climate. Has enough stretch to make them comfortable when bending and sitting. I took my regular size 26 despite some reviewers recommending taking a size down as I was specifically looking for jeans that aren't clinging and tight and more a loose-ish fit (I'm 5'5", about 120 lb., more straight figure from the waist down with skinny-ish legs), and am really happy with the size choice. They're tight enough to show my shape, but loose enough to be comfortable and tuck in the front of my sweater. It's not high waist on me, more mid. Very classic look, and flattering. Looks great with the current platform boots trend with the cuffs up, or with cool sneakers. The dark denim is really a gorgeous neutrality that isn't black but close to. Highly recommend, and the sales make it more than worth it.
