Limited-edition Point Sur Pasadena tapered slim-fit jean in Redondo wash
our new capsule of small-batch, vintage-inspired jeans that celebrate the spirit of Los Angeles. We sourced denim with character from premium mills in Mexico and Japan and based the washes on vintage pieces our designers discovered at the Rose Bowl Flea Market in California. For this pair, we went to the Kaihara mill in Japan, one of the largest and best-known denim makers in the world. In more than 50 years of production, Kaihara has patented machines to improve the weaving process and developed new techniques that blend American and Japanese dyeing traditions. This jean features a new slim and tapered silhouette with a flattering high rise. Plus, it's made with organic cotton that is grown without chemical fertilizers and pesticides from nongenetically modified seeds.

Not slim-fit at all
January 12, 2024These jeans are huge, boxy, and so uncomplimentary. Not "slim fit" at all! Very wide all the way down. I liked the high waist. The waist was comfortable and fit fine, so it wasn't that I needed to size down. The knee distressing/rips were bigger than pictured and of course got worse over time, so you could practically fly an airplane through the knee holes. Also, very very long. I had to roll the cuffs twice. They are comfortable but have absolutely no shape. Maybe they could be described as "boyfriend jeans" but slim-fit was incredibly misleading.

Made in USA. Beautiful quality denim but run large
April 6, 2023Really love that these are made in USA. Suggested size was 28 and I typically wear a 28. The 28 on me is quite slouchy. Definitely requires a belt to stay up. I am 5’7” with narrow hips and I’ll probably roll the hem up on these jeans. These are kind of “Cinderella” jeans. If they fit whom ever actually can fit in them, they’d be close to perfect.

March 16, 2023Nice looking pant but stiff, and uncomfortable due to the stiffness and huge. I wanted a loose pant so I ordered a size up and they were huge… so big I cannot wear them… so disappointed as I cannot return.

Runs Large is an Understatement
February 23, 2023I purchased the same size as previously purchased JCrew jeans and the size recommended by Find My Size and they are easily three sizes too big. Such a disappointment, especially because they were Final Sale. Lesson learned: Don’t trust sizing history of recommendations.

February 21, 2023I really like the little details on these jeans, like the coin pocket styling and the belt loop. They’re a nice quality jean too. As for the fit, if you are curvy, do not size down. Ordering your normal size should be fine. I sized down and cannot fit the jeans. I’m disappointed because they were final sale.
