Did not wash up well.
May 3, 2023I loved these jeans when I got them. They were soft and fit perfect and were very comfortable. But something happened when I washed them (on delicate cycle). They got stiff and actually got bigger/baggier! They look ridiculous on me now. Sadly, they’re the most expensive jeans I’ve ever purchased and now they just sit unworn in my closet.

Comfortable and light weight
April 9, 2023I love these jeans. They are very comfortable and easy to wear. I'm 5'6" and they came to my ankle. I'm usually a 31 in j crew jeans and these fit true to size. They fit straight on the hips and have enough stretch to be an easy fit.

Jean lovers delight
April 5, 2023I can wear a 31 or 32 in most j crew jeans. I chose the 32 in these because I wanted a looser casual fit. They still look fitted to my body and have shape even though I bought the larger choice. I can sit in these without them binding or cinching me around the middle. These are a good hanging out jean for me. The color in person is true to the picture online.

Perfect Straight Leg!
April 4, 2023I ordered the darkest wash for the days I want to look more polished/professional for "casual" days at work. These are perfect! Nice amount of stretch and THE perfect dark wash. I am small in stature but wider through the hip...it's challenging to find a straight leg that doesn't exaggerate my hips or make me look 4 sizes larger than I am. I've searched high and low before finding these. I plan to order in other washes. Well done, J Crew!

Ideal Vintage Slim Straight Jean
February 23, 2023Finally...JCrew got this style just right - fit is lovely - a bit of stretch vs. cotton; waist perfect/no pinching; everyday color - medium/classic blue jean wash w/out weird whiskers; no messy fray at bottom; good, not super short demi length. Now, let's hope for consistency in every pair of jeans labeled Vintage Slim Straight this year as last year I never knew what I was going to get in my order. For reference, I'm 5'3, weigh 110 and bought a 25 petite - I'm on the cusp of Pet and Reg., but since I will wear this everyday jean w. sneakers, and I don't have particularly long legs, the Pet length looks better.
