Fits slightly small based on
5 customer reviewsWhat customers are saying:
Customers really like the darker rinse wash, structured feel, and high-rise straight-leg silhouette, saying it looks polished, classic, and very flattering. The denim has a bit less stretch and a snugger fit, so several customers suggested sizing up for a more comfortable feel. The length runs a little long for some, which makes it easy to wear with boots or get a clean stacked look. Overall, the quality gets strong praise and many customers found these jeans comfortable and easy to wear often.

Good Color Quality Denim
August 6, 2020I normally wear a size 0 and a 25 in a jean. I purchased a 25 and they are pretty tight. I am quite slender (5'7", 111 lbs. for reference) and they do fit snug. I wish they had a 26 at the time of purchase but alas they did not. I would recommend sizing up for a comfortable fit. The fabric is very nice quality and the length is longer than usual, which I find great so in the winter my ankles aren't cold.

Legs for days!
July 29, 2020I bought a pair of these about a month ago and loved them so much I bought a second! The fit reminds me of the jeans I wore in the 1980s: it's sleek, form-fitting, and high waisted, and a lot snugger than any other pair in my closet. That said, I'm glad I didn't size up, since the silhouette wouldn't be as clean if the waistline and seat were looser. (For reference, I'm 5'7", 138 lbs, and usually wear a 27/4 in pants.) The length is great too: it comes down over my ankle bone, which means I can wear these year-round with boots and shoes. Best of all, these jeans make me look two inches taller and ten pounds lighter. Can't argue with that, especially for someone who's pushing 50!

if between sizes, order up
June 16, 2020I normally wear a size 26 in J. Crew Jeans (skirt 0, pants 2). I have no belly whatsoever (but plently of backside) and I find these tight across the abdomen. This is an issue because the jeans don't stretch much. They are loose everywhere else and look great--so the issue I feel is not actually visible. I would say order larger if you sometimes wear a larger size in J. Crew jeans.
