THE Perfect Dress!!!!
November 21, 2025This is THE perfect dress! It snugs the body in the right place, at the ribcage. I received MANY compliments each time I wore it. I also love that the sleeves are a tad longer, for those of us without Twiggy upper arms. I would buy many other dresses with a similar cut, if JCrew would make them.

Great colour, great fabric, great fit!
August 25, 2025Effortlessly fabulous, great attention to detail, good/natural fabric. Be careful though: as others have pointed out the dress is designed to be very tight around the core of your body so, know your size, becasue there is no stretch in the fabric of the dress.

August 5, 2025Beautiful dress but it's long. I'm 5'7" and it ends just above my ankles. Good material, flattering fit although my kids say I look like from The Little House on the Praire. I would defenetly but again. I normally wear size 6, I bought size 8 and it's perfect.

August 4, 2025After reading all the reviews, was also nervous about choosing the correct size! I sized up one size and it fits great. The arms weren’t tight on me. Great sale price. For reference, I’m 5’4”, 110# and usually wear a size 2/XS in J Crew dresses but for this dress I ordered a 4 Petite.

Shape-Defining Dress
August 2, 2025I know there’s a lot of mixed reviews here, but I LOVE it. Perfect color (a little more brown than pictured) and shape for early fall. Typically between a 6 & 8 and definitely glad I went with the 8. The sleeves and the waist run small. However, the waist seams and contouring are killer - super figure-flattering and create a sexy silhouette. Proper heels and jewelry will prevent the dress from looking too milkmaid-esque.
