May 23, 2026I read all of the reviews prior to purchasing this dress which frequently mentioned it being snug through the chest area. Therefore, I purchased one size up from my traditional size with JCrew. I would have been fine with my normal size because the lacing on the bodice allows tightening/loosening as required to fit. That makes all the difference! I am not bothered by the fact that the larger size is a bit loose through the rib cage as the dress is GORGEOUS!!! The fabric is nicely weighted, satiny - but without an overly glossy finish. Truly an amazing dress! Can’t wait to wear it.

Holy smokes, super snug.
January 4, 2026I’m a super small bust person. Extremely small 34b and 5’7 usually 135 ish lbs but just got back from a 10 day vacation- so probably 142. The body is SNUG holy cats. If I was one more meal in I likely couldn’t zip. Gorgeous color and material.

September 10, 2025I bought this dress for a recent trip and based on the reviews purchased in the next size up. However needed to purchase at least two sizes up due to the top /bust area ran smaller. Other than that the dress is stunning.
