Elegant and high quality
June 3, 2026Bought the white one with concerns about see through and touching skin. It tuned out ok. The shape of the under layer is visible but not abnormally or disturbingly visible. Touch on the skin is ok too; not itching. It looks very elegant and high quality.

Great sweater dress
May 29, 2026I bought this dress on sale a couple of weeks ago and I'm so glad I did! It's lovely. I purchased the ivory color and it's a great off-white. The wool is so soft and warm although the fabric feels thin. I will say that, even with nude underwear, I will need to wear a slip under this dress as the nude undergarments are still a little visible through the fabric. Not much -- just a little, and the slip is more for my own peace of mind than for any absolute necessity. I got this on a great sale and I would say that I'd even have paid more for this dress! It's a really great piece. Not all buttons are functional just fyi, only the top few and a couple at the very bottom.

Very disappointed!
April 1, 2026I am very disappointed in this dress. I order ALOT of JCrew and normally love the quality of everything. This dress is simply too thin and see-through. For a merino wool dress, I didn't expect this at all. I struggle to think how I can even wear a full slip with this dress and have it work. Now, I know I bought this at a great price and final sale - but I have to say it was a terrible purchase.
