Love this dress

In love with the look, but not the fit.
July 18, 2021I purchased this dress despite the reviews because I adored the a-line cut and vintage color and pattern. It is quite flattering on, falling perfectly at the knee. I would've preferred silk over polyester, or even a cotton with a bit of stretch. The waist is off, as others noted. For me, the waist fell at my rib cage, about 2in too high--which I would've been okay with had there been elastic. There is no give to the fabric. I plan to wear and enjoy this dress but feel certain it will tear with sudden movement. Size up to give yourself room to move without ripping the material.

June 12, 2021I was excited about this dress, the red pattern is beautiful and it seemed like a cute design. Even though it's polyester there is absolutely no stretch, though, and I could not even close the buttons over my chest. I am a 36DDD and usually a 16/18 in J Crew, I got the 16 and assumed that the fabric would have at least a little stretch but it did not. Sad that it did not work. Would love to try this style in a more forgiving fabric!

Beautiful lacks quality
May 27, 2021Even though style, print and cut make this the perfect dress, the material is terribly unforgiving, if one dares move too fast the seams do give in! The zipper broke immediately after trying it on. The material doesn't allow you to make any sudden movements otherwise it can bust.
