Boatneck vintage cotton maxi dress in stripe

Based on the positive reviews, I took a chance and ordered this dress in black on sale, in the size recommended by "true fit" --medium. I'm a size 10. Wow - it's really cute! The cut is flattering - both the A-line and the boatneck top, which is cut in slightly at the shoulders. Obviously, it's very comfortable -- a soft knit.

I live in this dress, it is thin but that’s a plus because is very light and airy so perfect for hot Summers. Also, it’s very well made, the cut is modern but it’s very flattering to the body. I don’t think is as see thru as others are complaining here, with skin color underwear is perfectly fine. I bought XS and I’m 5’2 and about 115lbs and it fits perfectly. I bought another one just to have an extra, plus the price is unbeatable.

I wish they made this dress in multiple colors because I would buy them all! It is a light weight maxi dress that that has a beautiful forgiving cut. It is feminine and a little bit sporty. It is the perfect dress to wear on a summer day to the farmers market or to the beach or to brunch. Absolutely love it!

This is super cute, but unfortunately the material is thin and it is see-through. I would return because I don’t feel like wearing a slip with a summery T-shirt material dress, but I don’t want to pay the nearly 8 dollars in shipping to get it back to J.Crew.
