Button-up cotton poplin dress

I would’ve returned this white dress but it was on clearance. It falls great on the body but the cotton is so difficult to iron! Even though it’s cotton, it’s low tier cotton and it wrinkles so easily compared to other brands I’ve bought cotton tops and dresses from. I expected much more from JCrew. Disappointed!

I wasn't sure this style dress was for me, but I love it! I'm 130lbs ,5'6" 34 b. Size 4 fit perfectly(usually a 2-4 in dresses-thanks to reviewers ordered this slightly larger) I thought the full skirt might be a bit too much or too girlish but it actually is flattering and sophisticated . It's also incredible comfortable. The cotton somehow feels crisp and cool yet silky and soft. In white it's fully lined and not see through although you can see seams ,which doesn't bother me.

This dress fits beautifully with one flaw. The top runs VERY small. Literally a size 10 dress top fits like a small. It was made for someone with little to no chest. There is a cut in the dress that runs across your chest that makes it sit oddly. When unzipped a few inches, it fits nicely. I really like this dress and did not want to go through sending it back to figure out what size could work because the top portion is far off, so I am going to look into altering the top to add material.

This dress is a nice summer dress, the only problem is that it runs a tad bit smaller than the flowered one. Another problem is tat it comes really wrinkled and it’s hard to iron.
