Hot LBD!
June 4, 2023I can usually wear between an 8 and a 10 in J. Crew, but as this was final sale I went for a 10 and was not disappointed. A little more snug than most 10s, but given the shape and height of the waist it makes sense. It's not uncomfortable but rather a good fit so the weight is not distributed in the straps. It's a perfect fit, there's some adjustment available in the shoulder straps and of course the tie back. The skirt is so full and dramatic. And there's pockets! I see myself wearing this with a lot of versatility. The length is definitely midi, maybe a tad longer on me (5' 7") and I'm so happy I bought it.

April 28, 2023I absolutely adore this dress! It's pretty, versatile, and the coverage in the front and the length balances out the sexy vibe of the open back. I went with my usual size 0, but couldn't breathe in it because the fabric is 100% cotton poplin and the waistband has no give. I went up to a size 2 and it's perfect! For reference, I'm a 32DDD and my boobs fit just fine with no side boob hanging out. Oh and depending on your torso length, the waistband (it's slightly higher in the front than the back) will hit just above your belly which disguises any bloating/tummy fat and is very forgiving and flattering..

Cute dress - not for me :(
April 17, 2023I really liked this dress online...great for beachy vaca. I am 5'8" tall, 137 pounds and 34D bra size. I ordered a size 4 (typical J crew size.) The top did not fit well at all with my bra size. I adjusted the shoulder straps to fit my chest but it made the back weird. The sides didn't lay down properly and were bunchy and awkward. Maybe I could have sized up? I am not sure how I could have made it work - possibly could have taken it to my tailor but I didn't want to chance it and not be able to return it. It is going back unfortunately.
