Collection side-cutout midi dress in orange floral cotton poplin

I usually love all dreses from J.Crew, but this one has a weird fit on top and the skirt is too big (Fits waist) The top is oddly laying fabric that looks bad. I wish I could return it, not happy at all.

Pros: The print and fabrication are excellent as expected. Fabric has a fantastic feel and is luxurious. Cons: I’m not sure what kind of torso you need to make the bodice of the dress fit. I chose my normal JCrew size (16) and the top was both too long and too large-tenting out at armpits. Construction of the top requires a great fit, you cannot use the back ties to adjust as I hoped. The waist fit, so I couldn’t go down a size. I’m a D cup so fit issues weren’t for lack of a chest.

I bought a size 2 and, as usual, was a perfect fit. Have worn it twice with hills and flats. Loved it both ways!
