Flutter V-neck dress in classic block print

I love this dress! The fabric is beautiful and the fit is flattering for a lot of body types. I found it to run big, but I’ve found all of Jcrew’s cotton dresses to be big this summer. I’m typically 4/6p in dresses, Xs in tops. I bought this in a 2 and it fits perfectly. For reference I’m 5’2”, 135, 34b. I took a star off because the fabric under the buttons moves and can cause gaps, I had to pin it, I think there should have been snaps added.

Fabric is soft and flowing. Runs a little large and long. On me, it wasn't a midi dress. I am 5' 2" tall and 106 pounds. I had to pay for hemming and also shorten shoulder drop as I have small back and there was too much fabric. I would still recommend if you have a good seamstress. Also, dress is more tomato red instead of red as shown in picture.

I read some reviews that mentioned this dress runs. I did not find that to be the case. I ordered one size smaller than my usual and cannot wear a bra with it and there’s some gaping at the buttons. I am 5’3”, 34C, and a true size 6 in J.Crew. I bought the size 4 and it’s snug on the chest. If you have a smaller bust you could probably go smaller but I should have bought my regular size. It’s really pretty! It’s a light cotton material and lined. My husband said I looked like I was channeling my Portuguese ancestors :)

I absolutely love this dress. It is easy to wash and wear. It's fun and beautiful. I have gotten many compliments. During this crazy time, it provides me with a touch of joy.

I really love the dress and the combination of its colors. It runs a little bit large, so, based on comments, I ordered a small size than my normal one. It fits perfect!

Pretty pattern and colors. Runs large on a smaller frame 5'4", too long from waist to shoulder. Also long overall. Would work better for someone taller.
