Lace-up balloon-sleeve dress

I'm usually a medium (5'5", 150 lbs., 34DDD) but exchanged for small due to to the blousy silhouette. I like balloon sleeves, but sometimes they can be too puffy and add too much width/volume to my shape. These sleeves are tolerable in that regard. Dress is short, but not too short. Cotton has a thick canvas feel, but not too thick. This is an A-line dress, from shoulders down, so waist is not as defined (which is why I sized down). Biggest drawback are the elasticated wrists--they're loose, so when you push the sleeves up your arm, they don't stay up for long. I got this 50% off clearance, so for the price, it's worth these minor drawbacks.

Very pleased with this dress and price was definitely right! My usual size is XS, but due to the reviews, I ordered an XXS and was glad I did. It fits really well, with the only complaint being the sleeves are a little short, but not bad. I am 5'3" and 109 lbs. The dress falls just above my knees. Super cute.

Nice thick cotton dress. On the larger size. I usually wear a xs and went with a xxs that fits perfectly!

Ordered my normal XS for JCrew and it fits very well. It is a heavy weight cotton and the navy color is very rich and not too dark. It is not close fitting with ample room to be comfortable.

Came across this beauty out off no where. I usually do pants and a top but thought I’d give it a whirl. It definitely doesn’t disappoint! Classic and clean look. Only issue for me is it ran big so I had to size down and get a medium. I usually do a large or 10/12. It definitely camouflages in all the right places. Love it!

Great quality style but please be aware it runs quite big. I have wide hips, size 12 or 31/32 and I was swimming in this. It has a straight fit, large through the shoulders and body. Beautiful fabric and quality style, just recommend sizing down.
