One-shoulder beach dress in vintage floral

This is a miss. I loved it in the photos but the quality and real life fit are so different. The material is very thin and cheap. Fit is very large through the top - not in an intentional way, just a poor construction. Not worth the money. I have several other summer dresses from J.Crew and this one is very subpar in comparison. The print is about the only positive. I'm 5'10 and normally a 4 in dresses; 6 if fitted cut.

Loved it! Beautiful print, very lightweight and colorful fabric, unlined but not sheer. I sized down to xx-small (usually wear x-small in J.crew dresses) per recommended in the previous review.

If you're familiar with J.Crew beach dresses, this is comparable. The material is very lightweight and it runs large. The waist is elastic with the tie. This and the shoulder tie allow for easy adjustments. I typically wear an XXL/2X in bottoms or XL in dresses. I got a large in this which is my typical beach dress size at J.Crew. It is also fairly long...hits lower calf and I'm 5'10. I don't know that I'd wear this out & about unless on vacation but it's beautiful. Only wish is for pockets but I understand. Overall, this is what I expected and I wasn't disappointed.
