Perfect-fit V-neck polo dress

I bought this in the "washed peony" color and found that it "washed" me out. I thought it would be lavender or lilac, but it's more of a sad, muted mauve. This fabric is clingier than I expected, and the dress runs a bit snug. I ordered my usual medium, but I'll have to lose another 15 lbs. to feel comfortable in this dress so that my lumps and bumps don't show so much. I also wish the sleeves were either shorter or longer--not crazy about "almost elbow length." I like the collar and v-neck, though, and the fact that there is no waist seam. At 5'5", 150 lbs., and 34DDD, horizontal waist seams in a dress usually chop me in two and tend to be too short-waisted, hitting right under my bust. This dress, at least, doesn't do that. For my complexion, I probably should have ordered this in black, but it the peony had the bigger discount!

I purchased this cute polo dress in the pink and it did not disappoint. Lovely muted color, and the “longer” short-sleeve length is so hard to find. The sleeve for is a bit shorter than I expected by looking at the photo online, but I’m also taller. Had there been a “Tall” version I would definitely have ordered that instead, but still a great find. Super comfy and not sloppy looking.

I purchased black and sized down to XXS for a slimmer fit but for a relaxed fit I'd probably order XS. Length is just above my knees. A solid piece for summer and transitioning to autumn weather - I throw on a jean jacket or cardigan when the mornings are cooler.
