Puff-sleeve V-neck midi dress in stretch linen blend

This dress is really adorable. The shape and fit are both perfect. I don’t agree with other reviews complaining about it being too tight, or the sleeves slipping. I have a thicker waist and had room in my usual size. The sleeves stayed up all night. My biggest issue is that if you are wearing a bra, it’s hard to cover it with the bust. If it were just a half inch more closed than it is, it would be 5 stars. I felt like I was adjusting the bust all afternoon. It’s a shame because it’s a really beautiful neckline otherwise.

First of all, the other reviews scared me a bit about proportions -- but if you're average size/proportions, the dress will fit normally. I'm 5'5, 130lb, 36B, and my usual J.Crew size 6 dress worked perfectly. While it does run a bit more fitted than I thought, it's not tight (and I'm someone who doesn't wear clothes tight). If I went up to my other possible J.Crew dress size of an 8, the top area would fit weird. The dress is surprisingly so good that after buying the white (which was not see through at all -- a common white clothes fear), I went back and bought the key lime green. Big fan of this dress. Definitely get it! If you have a larger chest, perhaps go with your larger J.Crew size and plan on adding a button/clasp for security.

I bought my usual size 4, It fits well at the chest and arms, but not the waist. The waist line is high and snuggly. I love the fabric and the color. My size, 5’5”, 132lb, 36C.
