May 24, 2023The negative reviews are mystifying to me. This light little dress skims without being snug and can be dressed up or down or changed with a cardigan. I am usually a petite and I got the regular (since that's all there was) which resulted in a perfect midi length for me. I love silk but cupro is a practical alternative (and is tons better than poly). My only tiny suggestion: can we move beyond the puff sleeves at some point? I would love a clean short sleeve on this one without the gathers at the shoulder. Regardless, this is a great dress. After getting one, I snagged a second in another color.

Nice dress but not for me
April 27, 2023I took a bet on this dress during final sale. Unfortunately, size 12 turned out to be too small for me (typically 12-14, L, 34FF). The major issue was that the dotted pattern and snug fit created very unflattering effect. I bought another pattern (green) in size 14 and it looks more flattering. Otherwise, the material is light (good for travel, although you might need to iron).

March 26, 2023I have never purchased a cupro dress, but I have purchased bias cut silk dresses that always have static cling. This material does not. But it feels and flows like silk. The little pleats at the shoulder are not too girly. I am 5'6", so the midi length works on me. I bought the 8, my usual j crew size these days. Fit is perfect all over. No tail in the back for me. Just buy your normal j crew size. I was surprised this fit so well on ne because I am a full 36b and J Crew dresses and shirts can sometimes be tight accross my chest. This dress is not.

Perfect Spring Dress
March 25, 2023What a great all purpose dress for Spring! Skims the body very nicely and doesn't cling to my less than flat tummy. A bit longer on me since I'm not that tall but still flattering. I got the blue and the neckline is perfect to keep plain or put on a fun necklace. Great for a wedding, graduation, Easter brunch or just with some sneakers to go shopping. Stitching was just fine and the back lay perfectly. Would be great for travel since it will roll up small. I'm going to geat a lot of wear out of this dress.
