Short-sleeve sequin dress in watermelon stripe

The colors are much more vibrant in person. The dress is fitted, and runs small in the bust and armholes. I would suggest sizing up one or even two sizes for a relaxed look.

I saw this dress so many times on the site, but I really took notice when I saw Mindy Kaling wearing it. I never thought I would wear something this bold, with sequins and loud colored stripes, but I have to say, it totally works. Just a beautiful dress. I can dress it up or down (jean jacket and white sneakers, or wedges with a chunky pair of earrings). This dress was a complete surprise and I'm happy I took a chance on it.

I think I’m in love! The fit and lining are so comfortable, but the sequins add such an elegant element of pizzazz. I can’t wait to wear it.

I am so glad I took a chance on this dress. Based on other reviews I decided to go for the smaller of the 2 sizes I normally wear. The 6 was perfect and dress is really pretty and it will very versatile. I love the colors, the sequins and the midi length. For reference I am 5’3.5, 150 lbs, small/medium, 6/8, 29/30 jeans. Hope this helps since this is final sale. I didn’t see any sequins falling off when I tried it on and no loose ones in the package. Also very nicely wrapped in tissue and plastic bag. I highly recommend!

Pretty much what I expected and the fit is TTS. Of course, I went up a size since JC sizes are all over the place for me, and the 8 is a tad large. The 6 may have worked, but I typically need room in the bust area which means I have to size up to get. Not so much here... Construction has a few issues in the dress I received, hence the 3 star rating. The sequins were not aligned near the zipper and it looks a bit unfinished, which is unfortunate. Otherwise, the color is vibrant. Agree with previous review re: elastic waist being odd. It cheapens the dress/aesthetic, but a skinny belt or “floating” it a bit will do the trick. Overall, pleased with the dress & will look great with open toe heeled sandals.

I had a baby 8 weeks ago and am still being gentle with a c-section recovery. Somehow this dress is the most comfortable and relaxed fit in my closet right now!! It’s very flattering in that it highlights the smaller areas like shoulders and waist. Also, the color scheme should be awarded an Oscar for doing it’s job so well! Worth it!!!
