Smocked cotton poplin dress in Ratti® midnight paisley

The pattern of the material is very cute, but there are many lose threads and one of the seams is coming apart. The cut is strange and not at all flattering.

The background of the Smocked Dress in Midnight Paisley is the color of a latte or cappuccino, which is shocking when compared to the online photos. At this price point, even on sale, the actual color should have been captured. Final Sale so be aware that the photos are not accurate.

I'm 5'4 and it came down to my ankles, though it said just below the knees. If you have a bit of a belly, this dress does not hide it. It's gorgeous but i had to return it.

I absolutely LOVE and ADORE this dress. I love the smocking. I am a little over 5’9 and weigh 140. I have a straight build with a long torso. It is a great length, but I did have the 2 inch hem available let out. I just like my dresses as long as possible. I don’t buy a lot of dresses , but this one is a keeper for sure. I have gotten so many compliments. I think you could wear this off the shoulder as well. I will say if you are large busted you might want to go up a size. I am normally a 4 or 6 in dresses and I purchased the medium and I’m small chested at 34b, but needed the medium. Hope this info helps. Just an amazing dress.

I love this dress. The cut is amazing. I love this smoked detail. It makes a very nice and flattering silhouette. So elegant. The fabric is a nice poplin. Colors are wonderful and elegant. Contrary to other reviewers I don't see that the smoked part is odd. I am petit and it fits perfectly. I can imagine that when you are more then 5.4 it would be a bit short on the breast part. For me as. a petite with 5.1/5.2 it is perfect. I was hesitant to get it , but now where I have it I am very happy with it. One of my favorites this summer from J.Crew.

The color isn’t navy as stated Can’t figure what color it is but against this dirty cream background it is very drab and for the money not a flattering color
