Pretty colors for summer
August 12, 2023This is a great summer dress. I love the colors and the style of the dress and even the fabric. My one complaint is that the dress is very itchy where there is smocking. I did not wear a bra with this dress as it’s not necessary, but I will next time to avoid the itchiness.

Update on how I added missing straps
July 23, 2023So it happened that I had purchased another dress with same design but diff styles. It was too big and I had planned to return it but never got to it. So when this dress arrived, it was missing two straps. I was so disappointed because I loved it soooo much. So, I cut out the straps from the one I’d planned to return and sew it on the dress with missing two straps. Quick thinking but it worked. Can’t return final sale. See pix. Now that I fixed it, I’ll give it 5 stars. The photo without straps is the dress I removed straps from!!

July 22, 2023I’m deeeeeeeeeeply heartbroken because this dress comes with 2 straps instead and of 4 and it’s on final sale.my first j crew disappointment and I’ve been shopping with this brand for years and own a gazillion dresses!!Heartbroken is an understatement! Such a beautiful dress!

I wanted to like it but…..
July 13, 2023Such a pretty summery print and the perfect length. Based on other reviews I sized down from my normal medium to a small. However I’ve come to the conclusion that the combination of spaghetti straps and smocking and the high waist is not flattering on my 36c flat chested upper half and hippy lower body. This cut makes me look blocky. Sadly it’s going back so sadly it’s going back
