Gorgeous dress perfect for fall!
November 22, 2021I love the colours/pattern of this dress! I don’t usually love dresses with smocking but took a chance on this and I’m glad I did! I ordered my usual size small even though some reviews said it ran small. I found that it fits pretty true to size. You can size up if you want more wiggle room for washing and drying. I’ll be washing cold and hang drying with the small to prevent any shrinking.

Plaid smocked dress
November 9, 2021I loved this dress... and I just bought the same version in black in the store. Wore it out to a fancy restaurant in NYC the other night and got TON of compliments. My chest and upper body is small so it's all in body proportions. If you have a bigger upper body size up, perhaps that will work. Maybe not, it all depends. - Everyone is shaped different. But, I found this a real joy and a ton of slouchy ill fitted and mini or over the knee styles for yrs! The company is bring back the old JCREW from the 90s before Jenna Lyons. No more slouch and ornate decal, yay.

November 2, 2021I love this dress! It's comfortable and beautiful! I love the sleeves. It turned out to fit off the shoulder, but I have broad shoulders so it may fit different if you have narrow/average upper body.

Elastic runs small and tight.
October 26, 2021The elastic on this dress is crazy tight, especially under the arms. It digs into my shoulders and is painful to wear for more than a few minutes. I am typically a size 4/small in J. Crew and got my regular size.

Great Fall Look
October 21, 2021Love this dress! I was scared to purchase based on the previous reviews but it is perfect in my size. The smocking fits me more like an empire waist dress but the sleeves are a great length and not too puffy at all. The skirt hits mid calf. This is perfect for fall, comfortable, and unique. How can you not like brown plaid?!

Perfect Fall Dress!
October 19, 2021I find this dress true to size and it was very cute and flattering on! I have a shorter torso and found the proportions to be fine for me. I'm 5'2" and about 150 and have the small which is my normal size.
