Size runs extremely small!
July 1, 2021runs small. Sadly it was a final sale so I'm stuck with it. I went up a size and it still didn't fit. The top and chest area runs extremely small.

Beautiful in concept, but awkward on
August 25, 2020This is the very first dress I have ever bought from j.Crew that I didn't absolutely love. The color and the material are beautiful. Because I am a bit on the busty side, I have to size up when I'm buying a sheath dress. The dress fit fine on the top, but there was so much loose material around the waist area, I had to look at this tag to see if I accidentally bought a maternity dress. I actually gave it away to a friend of mine who will need a maternity dress soon, and she loves it.

August 22, 2020No "structure" here. Also, many J Crew linen and lace summer dresses were lined with cotton in the not so distant past. As the climate warms, it would be great to have cotton linings again instead of hot, sweaty polyester and rayon blends.

Great for a tall woman
August 8, 2020The dress is made of a soft linen fabric and the color is true white. I am 5'3" 116 lbs, bought a size 2 and it runs very big and long on me. I wish that I would of listened to other reviews that recommended a petite size. The pleats and pockets are too low for me. Oh, and for the record, I have a short torso. As far as stretch, I do not feel there is any, so be weary of that. I bought it at a final sale and fortunately will not be able to return or exchange it for a petite size.
