March 24, 2023I love this dress. I got the pink. It's not lined but doesn't need to be as the material isn't flimsy. It's a full dress with lots of material for those who prefer that. It does run large. I usually buy an XS in J Crew dresses and the XXS could easily have worked. Yes, the strings on the sleeves are not adjustable. Bummer. It's a great transition dress that will work great for dinner if you've been out all day, just don't forget to pack your heels! :)

A trip to the tailor made this perfect
February 19, 2023I bought this dress in vivid pink, at a great sale price. Didn’t like the puffy sleeves, but loved the simple neckline and the beautiful stitching at the hem. Also love that it is all cotton. So I took it straight to my tailor, to have the sleeves removed. I’m delighted with the result, and plan to take it on a trip to Mexico this spring. If the brown color was still available, I’d buy that too!

December 9, 2022This dress is so stunning. They invested in the construction of this dress. What you don’t see online very well: the seamed details on the sleeve, at the hem, the sash. There is also an elastic waistband. As a long bodied petite, I took out the sash and tied it just above (but still covering) the belt loops with the sash, or use a different belt. 5’ 100lbs, I like a slight oversized fit and was ok with sleeve length. Was almost hesitant to buy since it doesn’t pass the wrinkle test, but the cotton is thick enough that should be ok for the most part. Picked up pink and umber on sale and see these being in my closet for a long time.
