V-neck criss-cross dress in block print

I saw the print and colors and I couldn't pass it up on the sale. I was almost deterred by the review that said it ran small- I found it ran completely true to size. The chest however is small, I would say B cup is the limit for size XXS (the size I ordered) I'm 5'2 95lbs and the XXS is perfect when tied extremely tight in the back and it was surprisingly supportive when tied tight so there is room to spare bc the tie in the back is adjustable. This would be easy to cut the traps and turn into a halter if you don't want to be forced to deal with the criss cross back tie (i think XXS could easily go up to 110lbs possibly 115 if small chested but definitely not more than that) There is stretch smoking on the back This is not my favorite top style with the triangle top but i still couldn't pass it up and I love the colors and flowy bottom and the light cotton will be perfect for a hot day.

First off, this the color, pattern and style are so pretty! All of my J Crew dress are an XXS, so I went with my usual size. The dress fit my rib cage and midsection, but the top of the dress...let's just say it looked like a teeny string bikini on me. I don't mind cleavage, but this was top boob, side boob, all boob. It's a no-go for me.

This dress is beautiful in person. The quality is nice and I felt it was true to size. This dress is not meant for busty girls. I am a 38D and the top of the dress only covered half of my breasts and there was lots of side boob. I do not shy away from showing the girls off but this was too much for me and I returned it. I really think this would be perfect on someone with a smaller chest and perfect for spring or summer outing.

The good: The color and print is stunning! The bad: I'm *always* a medium (sometimes a small) - for the numerical ranges I'm always an 8 or a 10 in dresses. I bought a medium in this and it's... small. It's tight. I think. (I'm small up top, so JCrew dresses normally work for me, but the torso was too tight, and the chest was too loose.) The caveat to the straps being adjustable is that you have to tie a single knot/bow/whatever in the back. Getting the right fit is difficult and awkward. Though the listing doesn't indicate otherwise, there are no pockets or any other secret features. To be honest, and it hurts a bit to say this, this doesn't feel like JCrew quality. Something is off Back it goes.
