Sizing Woes
May 24, 2026These jeans are wonderful and high quality, but the sizing is absurd. I’m curvier on the bottom, five feet tall, and approx 110 lbs. the last pair of white jeans I bought from J Crew was in May 2024, exactly two years ago. I went from a 25 petite to barely fitting a 26 regular! I couldn’t get the 25 petite or 25 regular over my hips. Lest anyone think this is an issue only impacting the curvy jeans, I’ve found myself going up two or more sizes in other styles trying to find things that fit. It’s disappointing for such a longtime customer.

Perfect Fit
May 24, 2026I always have a problem with a waist gap in the back of my jeans due to having to buy a size that fits my hips and butt rather than my waist. These curvy fit jeans are the perfect solution! Perfect for pear shapes. I got my normal size 26 and I’m 5’5 with a 25 inch waist and 36 inch hips. The waist fits perfectly - no gap at all and no pulling my jeans up numerous times! Highly recommend for pear-shaped or hourglass bodies.

Good pants, but not a good fit for me
May 12, 2026It was too small in the waist and too wide leg for my taste, but then I am short and stumpy so maybe this style only looks good on thin girls. Quality was great, though. Would definitely recommend for the skinny women.

Yay for curvy fit and finished hems!
April 15, 2026Took a while to find the right fit between regular/curvy and regular/petite but great now that i have! I'm usually size 6/28 at j crew and curvy fit best best. I tried the regular and there was too much gap in the waist. I got the curvy in size 28 and it's snatched at the waist but I prefer that. If you dont, you may want to size up but I generally find this TTS. Fabric is very stretchy and forgiving. I love the finished hems and that its not too wide in the leg. Im 5'3 and tried both regular and petite hems and I liked both. The short length hits about an inch or two above my ankles and have more of a summery vibe. The regular length ends just above top of foot but below the ankle.
