Extra relaxed "straight leg"
March 12, 2024Note: The most recent reviews were made after J. Crew offered a promotion for a review... Bought this fit in both the Birchwood and Pheasant washes and sized down from my usual 31 based on all the prior reviews, thinking they would be snug at first and break in with some wear. First purchased the Birchwood and the hips and waist fit well when I first put them on but everywhere from thighs down looked super baggy and weird. If you're over a sz 27, these fit more like the super relaxed Levi's from childhood - and not in a cool girl way. After an hour, the waist was bunchy and made my midsection look bigger than it is. Crew, baggy semi-wide leg is not the same as straight leg - and why do brands think a sz 29 and up need much bigger legs?? Just because you're not a sz 25, doesn't mean your calves are as wide as your thighs. I mean...

Great fitting jeans
March 10, 2024I bought these jeans for my daughter and she loves the classic fit and style that JCrew is known for. She took her usual size 25. For reference, she is tall and slender…5’5” and 110 lbs.
