September 28, 2022Based on the true fit recommendation and on the reviews I purchased size 31 my larger normal JC size Normal JC size in all jeans 30-31 depending on stretch This pair was huge at least 2 sizes too big in waist and baggy all over I have a fat 35” waist - slimmer hips #170 5’7” The jeans are dragging on the floor and have wide huge legs not like the picture Quality is great for lightweight denim, good color, not overly distressed Was this one pair a fluke? Final sale I should learn…

COLOR IS COMPLETELY OFF
September 28, 2022The color of the denim is a warmer wash. I am not sure why J Crew has been having trouble with this lately, but maybe it is the filter used for photos now. A have a few inches of leg length because I am 5’4” but I absolutely love the fit. Coils have gotten a 27 for a tighter waist, but I’m thinking about layering for winter :)

Cut is off
September 25, 2022I always wear a size 27, and wear many different JCrew styles. These jeans were final sale, and I should know better to order a final sale via online purchase. The cut is way off in the butt, hips, and crotch. I can barley button them - they are very uncomfortable! Goodwill?

September 24, 2022I wear a size 29 in Jcrew jeans and I could not get these to close. I am starting to wonder if these were marked a size wrong or Point Sur I have to have a bigger size. I am normally a 6-8. I can't wear them and they are final sale. They are very good quality and look super cute. I am wearing them around the house to see if they can get stretched out in the waist.

100% Cotton w/o Stretch
September 19, 2022The jeans are high quality and true to the description, which states high rise and slim through the hip and thigh, with a straight leg. For me, due to the 100% cotton content, they are not nearly as comfortable as other jeans with 1% elastane I will reach for first. Even though they are TTS, they feel slightly small because they don't stretch. Lesson learned that I will not be purchasing 100% cotton jeans in the future. Still, I will enjoy wearing these occasionally. For reference, 150#, 5'5# and purchased the same 29 in J.Crew I always do.

Perfect for someone with a straighter body type
May 29, 2022I love the cut of the legs, the feel of the denim, and the look of the wash that these jeans have. Unfortunately, they are just not made for someone with a curvy frame. I purchased these in my usual J.Crew size. They are loose around the waist but stiff and tight across the seat. If you are not an hourglass or a pear these might be perfect for you.
