About two sizes too small.
2 days agoIt’s truly infuriating how inconsistent J. Crew is with sizing. I am consistently a size 25 across all brands and most Jcrew jeans. In the barrel jeans at J. crew, I am bizarrely a size 24. So, these should definitely fit, right? Wrong. These size 25 jeans for more akin to a size 24 or even 23. I couldn’t even zip them up. I know I didn’t change sizes overnight. Really disappointed in this one. J. Crew makes great quality jeans, but the sizing makes it so frustrating. Also, this pair had weird puckering/wash defects throughout- perhaps a quality control issue.

Favorite jeans in a long while!
6 days agoI LOVE these jeans. The front pockets leading to the stripe down the side are super unique and designer-looking, and the back pockets and darting at the back of the waist really flatter the rear. These run TTS (I’m usually a 25 in JCrew jeans and I fit *almost* comfortably in 25 - thanks to the stretch - and I’m 2 months postpartum with 7-10lbs of baby weight left to go). Once I’m back to baseline weight, I suspect these will fit perfectly with just a slight slouch. I’m 5’3” and went with the regular length and they just brush the top of my instep. I think petite would have been too short. Can’t beat them at the sale price!

Bad sizing
2 weeks agoOne star for the sizing. Am usually a 2-4 in all things JC and consistently a 26 in their denim. These have the tiniest waist and cannot be worn comfortably in size 26. Could hardly zip them up! Would love to trade for larger size but final sale prohibits.

Buyer Beware!
2 weeks agoSo disappointed with the fit on these. Purchased item final sale, and have many 8/29 denim styles in my closet from J Crew, but these are tiny. I can hardly get them over my derrière. The style and denim is great, but they seem at least one to maybe even 2 sizes smaller. When I hold them to the waist of my other J Crew denim, there is a huge difference. I was very excited about these, but looks like I will have to eat the cost of this unreturnable item. So…buyer beware!

2 weeks agoGreat fabric and rinse. Unfortunately, they were way too small for me at final sale. I consistently wear an 8, sometimes 6, from J Crew. Ordered these in an 8 and they button but are way too small. They are smaller than some J Crew jeans in 6s I have purchased recently, so based on that and the other great reviews, I think this pair is just defective. I hope a friend can wear them! I regularly order final sale items from J Crew without issue, but I might avoid these.
