Chambray smocked mini skirt

I paired this skirt with the matching sleeveless chambray top shown on the model but instead of ordering classic I ordered tall to get the extra 1.5" in length. When the two are paired together with the longer skirt it looks like an adorable dress. For the record I'm 5'7" and the Tall skirt is still several inches above my knees but a much more wearable length. I think this skirt will also go well with any of my swimsuits as a bottom cover up.

I wore this out this past weekend. I’m about 5ft3” and it wasn’t too short, but I imagine this can be too short for someone taller. It does look very small right out of its package, but it didn’t feel too tight when I put it on. If your usual size on JCrew isn’t too big, as is often the case for me, then it might be too tight.

Purchased XL even though suggested size was large. Waist, although stretchy, was only about 15” across. Still deciding whether to try sizing up or not…
