Balloon-sleeve dress in stripe

Ordered this despite reviews indicating it runs big. I wear a 4 and normally order a small and this dress looks like a tent on me. The waist can be cinched with the belt for a slight improvement on shape, but what makes it look clownish on me are these balloon sleeves. They start to balloon right at shoulder causing the dress to sag at cleavage level and extends all the way down arm. Just awful and shape less.

I love this dress and I love the fabric, however, the button gaps make this impossible to wear this dress without a slip underneath which kind of defeats the purpose of the beautiful fabric. The dress fits me loose and if I wore it without a slip my bra and underwear would be completely exposed. I was disappointed to see this. Since I bought this dress final sale I will make it work with a slip.

I wasn't sure how this is going to look on me; but I was pleasantly surprised when I put it on. Very chic warm weather dress. I'm 5'7 and the length is just fine with me (a little over the knee). I love the color - very Amalfi Coast! Great with a straw hat. It does run a little big but you can cinch it with the belt. The elastic on the sleeves are a little loose; but you can still hike the sleeves up. It is not as thin as earlier described; good weight for a warm weather. Definitely would recommend this.

Although the dress is thin( perhaps see through), the style was surprisingly nice. Just not for me, couldn’t put my finger on why . It is going back, Perhaps it will be a cute dress for someone taller
