Nice looking pants, run large
July 4, 2026Purchased these pants along with the matching jacket (on sale) and am happy with the purchase. The wool material is beautiful and comfortable. The inseam is just the right length for me - I typically have a have most J Crew pants and jeans hemmed. I wish the elastic waist band was a little thicker, similar to the Stratus style pants. The pants run large and have very wide legs - I took them to my seamstress to have the legs taken in a bit - but they were unable to do so because there are no seams on the outsides (lateral part) of the legs. They said they could put a full length seam in, but I was concerned because they are pinstriped, and it could cause more problems. If you dont mind super wide leg pants - these are a very nice pair.

May 8, 2026Very cute and comfy pull on pants! I sized down to an Xsmall due to the elastic waist so they wouldn’t look too slouchy or poofy. My normal size is 4/6, or small.

Perfect elastic waist work pants
May 1, 2026Currently pregnant and these are perfect for work. I’ve been wearing with blazers and sweaters and they work so well. Love the wool material. They look and feel like a nice work trouser but have an elastic waist band. Win win. I’m 5 4 and the length is perfect for a low heeled boot or flat. Bought my usual size.

April 29, 2026Another reviewer called these an "alternative to sweatpants" and I pretty much agree. They are not going to look dressy with the thin, elastic waistband. But with nice sneaks and a cashmere sweater, they are more elevated than sweatpants or jeans, but just as comfortable. The fabric is very nice. I fine wool, unlined. My beef is that the photos are misleading. And I see this a lot on J. Crew. There is no way a 5'9" model is wearing xs and they are that long. These girls must wear Tall sizes! If so, just say so! I'm 5'7" are these really aren't long enough. I wish I'd tried a Tall size. Even final sale, I could at least have had them hemmed up needed. I'm going to see a tailor about these and see how much length we can squeeze out of them. Also, at 5'7" 115lbs, I should have ordered xs.
