Tie-waist straight-leg pant in honey plaid Italian wool
We've taken our classic high-rise straight-leg silhouette and added a drawstring elastic waistband—which is basically our sneaky way of making them way more comfortable (and no less polished).Plus, this pair is crafted in premium wool we found at Tollegno 1900 (Est. 1862, it's one of Italy's oldest mills) and matches back to a blazer in the same print, for a head-to-toe, work-ready suit we love.

Customers love the quality and comfort of these pants, highlighting the super soft, lightweight wool material with a full lining that drapes beautifully. Several customers noted that the colors aren’t the classic grey—offering instead dynamic shades like chocolate brown, taupe, and a gorgeous blue—which adds a fresh twist to the look. Many suggested that the pants have a relaxed, oversized fit, so sticking with your regular size might be the way to go if you’re after a more tailored feel. Overall, customers enjoyed how versatile the pants are, making them great for both smart office wear and more casual, laid-back styles.

What's with the draw string on all these suits?!
December 17, 2021I'm so disappointed with my go to store JCrew. These styles are the worse. Between draw string pants and boxy jackets this seasons designs are not flattering. Hoping next year will be back to my favorite place to shop.

Must get these if you already have blazer!
October 17, 2021I bought the matching blazer last season and missed out on matching trousers in my size so when these came out, I knew I had to get them. They are a very relaxed fit and I think you should consider getting your regular size in JCrew pants. I could have sized down one size and they would have been okay but I decided to embrace the “sweatpants-look” with loafers and/or sneakers. Cannot wait to wear them now that the weather has cooled a bit in H-Town! And BTW, there is NO gray at all. It’s Chocolate brown/taupe and a Gorgeous blue. I will pair with so many tops I already own. Also, the drawstring is not attractive and I’ll replace with a darker color. (I gave it a 4-rating is because I much prefer trousers over this elastic waistband, but the material is divine and it matches my blazer!

Love These!
October 16, 2021I found these to fit TTS (I took a 2), and they're awesomely slouchy without looking sloppy. I guess I had the opposite experience from other reviewers. My waist is 28, hip 34, inseam 27.5, and I'm 5'4" with longer legs--pretty straight up and down, and these looked adorable. I happen to have the matching blazer from last season, so I now have an adorable suit, but these also work alone paired with an oversized navy (or camel, or burgundy) turtleneck or a white tee. I'm amazed by how comfortable they are, and they drape perfectly. The length is ideal for wearing with a variety of shoes but works fantastically with my chunky loafers. I'm so, so pleased with these! And they're lined! And so comfy for trousers. I ended in buying 3 other colors including the navy pinstripe. I'd recommend giving them a chance with the awesome sale price--it's worth it!

Great thought, poor execution
October 10, 2021These pants are too sloppy for work and not comfortable enough for lounging, so I'm not sure where I'm supposed to wear them. I purchased these to wear to work as I go back to the office, but I'll be returning them. I love the pattern and tried styling them a bunch of different ways, but there's no structure and they just look like sweatpants. However, they're not as comfortable as other sweatpants due to the lining. They also run big (25in waist and I bought a 0 per the size chart).

A little baggy and surprising color
October 2, 2021I could see on my computer that these were brown, not grey, but I could not discern that the plaid was darker brown and navy blue. I just assumed it was several shades of brown and was surprised by the blue. I'm consistently a size 10 across several styles and brands. I bought the 10 in these, and they seem a little bit big. I also bought the grey tie-waist pants in a 10, and that pair fits nicely with a slightly slouchy look. These are just a little bit looser everywhere. Lightweight wool and fully lined. Drawstring unnecessary, but I love the comfortable wide elastic waistband after so many months of WFH in leggings and sweat pants.

Not Grey
September 6, 2021Love these pants but they're not grey. Also - 16 Tall should not have fit me but it did. I would have thought I needed a 20. Length is good
