Double-breasted blazer in lightweight houndstooth wool

I bought this jacket in another color/pattern first, so I had some experience figuring out what the right size would be. The risk in this coat is that it is too big and flares too much at the hips. I normally wear a J. Crew blazer in size 2, maybe a 0 sometimes. I ordered down in the other blazer I have, and it worked but was still a little big in the hips. I ordered this one in a 00 and it fits and looks great open and closed. I have shoulders and arms, but the 00 is not too tight. In this suit the jacket runs large and the pants run small--rough combination.

Unfortunately the cut is not flattering. It flares out at the hips which does not give a good silhouette
