Pull-on straight-leg bi-stretch wool pant in Snowy Stewart tartan

At 5'3" I hover between regular and petite sizing. Usually the pants are too long in regular sizing but the rise is good. True to usual fit, in these pants I size down in the regular fit to a 2, and lucky me, they are a 28" inseam which is my maximum and preferred length for a straight leg. I tried them on in the store during a pre-opening personal shopping session (I'm immune compromised) and they fit perfectly. FYI my waist is 27" and my hip is 35.5. No petites to try on in the store, which is shameful J. Crew. According to the chart I would be a 4P but the inseam is only 26". So overall I got the best size.

Nice high rise plaid. I wore top that covered the elastic in the back. I like that plaid is back in style but like to mix it with other patterns.
