Alex Eagle X J.Crew leather-blend bodysuit

J.Crew or Alex Eagle. I'm not sure who to thank more for this incredible bodysuit! It looks too good to be true from the photos. Professional model, fantastic lighting, etc... I had low expectations when this went on sale, so I threw caution to the wind and decided to try it. Being slightly longly waisted and a little thicker around the middle than I used to be (thank you menopause), I wasn't sure what size to order but after carefully checking the measurements given in the size chart I went with a 2 (my normal J.Crew size). I'm a solid 34b bust, 27-28" waist, and a 38" hip. Although I realized that the entire back and lower front was all made of a stretchy, almost bathing suit material, I was concerned that it would be too short between shoulder and crotch. It is not! It has just enough length and stretch to comfortably fit over my long frame and it looks great! My only complaint would have been that it cuts low and straight across my most unflattering hip line, but that is probably a purposeful design element to keep the leather portion of the top from pulling up and exposing the "panty" portion above your pants or skirt waistline. GENIUS! I CANNOT WAIT to wear this fantastic find! Look out Instagram. This will probably end up in every one of our anniversary photos this year!
