Fixer Upper
January 15, 2018This shirt has 15 buttons between the front of the shirt and both sleeves. Between first wear and first (gentle - delicates) wash, the top button popped off, then three more fell off, then two more basically disintegrated into pieces so they can’t even be sewn back on - so I’m down six total. A button-down shirt is hardly wearable with no buttons.

It's fine
November 27, 2017Relaxed fit with good color. However... the fit has changed from the beloved boyfriend shirts of yore. The shoulders are wider and the body of the shirt is cut so that it feels flouncy and has a lot of material to tuck in at the bottom hem. The flannel is thinner and seems more prone to wrinkling than in the past. This shirt feels more casual and more like something I would expect from a "fast fashion" brand than from J. Crew.

Longgg
November 25, 2017Basically a nice plaid for winter in a color I needed. Seemed very long and I had to tuck it. Also I thought it would be a bit thicker like flannel but is a thinner fabric.

nice fall staple plaid shirt
November 9, 2017first off, i'm not sure if i received the same shirt everyone has given reviews for. 1) this is a lightweight washed (almost gauzy) cotton shirt...whoever called this a flannel or "substantial" in weight is not talking about the same shirt i received. 2) it does run big but not so much that you would be drowning it. i sized down one size. 3) high side slits? where? what? huh? no...it does not have high side slits. at least not so high that skin from your torso is exposed. if you get the right size, it wears exactly like it does on the model which means, yes, you can tuck it in without bulk in your pants. overall, i love this shirt and plan on getting lots of wear out of it.

Few things to consider.
October 26, 2017The shirt is comfy, but the length is too long. I would prefer to wear without tucking it in.
