Button-front tie-waist top in rainbow mini stripe cotton poplin

This top looks great w/skinny white jeans or shorts. I put a blazer over it for work but didn’t love that combo. I always struggle with how to tie these shirts, luckily I have a friend that’s a big help!

The bright stripes were brave for me... what I love is that this blouse goes with most anything, skirts, pants, denim, walking shorts, cut offs. You can even use it for a little swim cover up if you wanted to. The cut is generous, allowing for more room in the shoulder and bust,tapering slightly in the waist and hips. If your a smaller person you might want to size down. The waist tie is not attached to the blouse and it serves as a flattering way to pull the top into your body and show your shape. I thought this blouse would be more low hip length, and on me it hits at the top of the hips. Definitely a blouse and not a tunic on me. I am 5’9, broad shoulders, busty 36DD, size 8/10 curvy. I think this will be a very useful addition to my closet.

I am obsessed with rainbow stripes and had to try this shirt. It did not disappoint. I love how JCrew turned a simple button down into an edgy, modern look. I ordered both a small and an x-small, based on reviews saying that it runs big. It definitely does. I typically wear a 4 or small in JCrew and the x-small here fit perfectly. I love the wide sash and how it creates a peplum effect. I like to wear this with shorts on weekends for a polished casual look or with skinny pants to work. Hair up, collar up, I love this shirt!

This is a fantastic shirt for the summer. It pairs well with jeans or shorts and is light cotton.

Cool and comfortable. Easy to wear with many different colors.
