Thomas Mason® for J.Crew tuxedo shirt with feather sleeves

I wore this shirt three times before I brought myself to hand wash. I thought 'hand washing has to be the safest method' in order to keep all the beautiful feathers in tact. Wrong. Hung it to dry and instead of the feathers drying soft they dried hard and stiff and when I tried to 'comb' them out gently they started falling out. So sad.

This is a follow-up to my first review of this shirt: Initially I had ordered a size 6, my standard size, and it was way too large. I loved the shirt so much I returned the size 6 and ordered, with confidence, a size 2----it is just right and I can't wait to wear it!

Ok JCREW whoever designed this deserves a raise. I would like to see you up your shirt department, this is a perfect example. From your velvet shirts, tartan plaids, and ruffles down the front please give me more. I bought all these shirts but was left wanting more. I know I am a fashion junkie, I love JCREW but would probably double what I spend if there was a bit more to choose from. Filled with holiday spirit , I also bought these for my friends. Yep I am a good friend. About the shirt,, what can u say about a white shirt with feathers on the sleeve? Just fabulous wear with everything.

I ordered this shirt in a size 6, which is my true size, but am exchanging it for a size 2 (and I am confident the smaller size will fit me)! It runs really large. The quality of the shirt is fantastic and I love the edginess of the sleeve. Classic yet unexpected.
